A song for those of us who sell wares in the public square.

Spectacular craptacular
is flea market vernacular.
I will sell you anything
as long as you will pay me for it.

Here’s an old pan
(only has a single crack)
There’s a box fan
(you can’t have your money back).
Lots of old shoes,
(sorry they are full of holes).
Special art glues…
I even have some fishing poles.

No gold, no guns,
no antiques or fishing lures,
just some kids toys
old hand tools and
pedicures.

The flashlight man comes growling by;
he’s there to look but not to buy.
There’s a mom with kids in tow,
C’mon it’s time to start the show.

Yes it works right
(well it worked right yesterday)
That old Lite Brite?
No, I threw the pegs away.

So if you pass my way today,
I’ll sell you what you threw away.
Charging you a buck or two
for stuff to fill your home anew.
