A spoken word can speak more than volumes.
I’m speaking with spoken word
Speechless when I speak
And outspoken when I’m heard
I’m speaking with spoken word
Speechless when I speak
And outspoken when I’m heard
A speaker seeking out verbs
In sneakers putting together words
Making a name for myself
And causing an uproar in this world
Generating a silent movement
Moving with vibrant students
With potent poetry with content
The kind that’s not so complex
That it conflicts with the intellect
I hope you can comprehend
It’s for the competent
And the ones with common sense
Not necessarily for common men
It gears to give you confidence
Some may say it contradicts
And counter collects and is not fully correct
It’s just counterfeit
But when I say what it is
It sparks a light that is bound to ignite
The moving of students
In the silence of the night
Because speech is bright
And we can’t do anything
If all we do is fight
Wars overseas
Is making me see the light
We have got to unite
Or else we will just be
Single speakers speaking
Trying to start a movement
Where we can start moving students
Who are set to change the world
And cause their own uproar with words
Of knowledge and truth
Gearing to the youth
Then we will be uprooting the root
And planting new seeds of fruit
That is upright and stands for truth
That is why I’m speaking with spoken word
Speechless when I speak
And outspoken when I’m heard
Hoping to start such a movement
Like plate tectonics moving
Slowly but surly choosing
Changing and proving ourselves
To those who thought we weren’t improving
But soon my words will be soothing
When it comes to pass we’ll be rooting
But for now everyone needs to be speaking
Doing something to stop the leaking
Or else we will drown and be defeated
And your speaking doesn’t have to be in spoken word
It can be in any kind of words
As long as the message is there
We will be heard and that is our aim
Using our voice and vocals
To vocalize the certainty
And voicing the virtues of conformity
Eliminating the vice in the majority
And that is why
I’m speaking with spoken word
Speechless when I speak
And outspoken when I’m heard
Hoping to start such a movement
With speech
