One Christmas my daughter and I wasn’t going to be able to spend Christmas together unless we met halfway. It was an adventurous Christmas in Tennessee.

Tennessee true is far away

Illinois is far from North Carolina

Is true too

But what could I do

But meet

My hard working daughter

Half way

Not seeing her for Christmas

Would have made her and I both sad

We decided together

And we sure were all glad
