Spicy Death is a breakup poem for Triond Writing Challenge Round 32 organized by Duff D Moss. Challenged words are spicy peas and flesh.

Spicy Death

Walking close to him silent, her eyebrows knitted.
The strong smell of spicy peas crushed her every nerve.
Wasabi kept mocking her, she almost quitted.
On the love road, between them, lay the fatal curve.

Many times she told him, she could not stand Wasabi.
Love made him surrender and worship the salted one.
Yielded to her was a must in their love recipe.
She used to view him the diligent man who won.

The recipe was not enough to feed the flesh.
Greed and vanity lured him to take corruption.
She kept circling, absorbing the nuisance fresh.
Recent memories dipped her into frustration.

He spotted her, then turned back to have more spicy peas.
She glared at him, then went away for handy bees.

I wrote many poems for the Triond Writing Challenge, from round 24 up to 32. Welcome to take a look and give me your valuable comments.

my first experience w/ wasabi was when I mistook it for a bowl of guacamole, and ate a heaping tablespoon in one gulp. I like the way you “mix” the senses in this excellent piece-of-poetry.

I liked this because it was very original. I really like the launguage that you used in this one. Very visual, it was.
