A short poem about a glass of spilled milk.

Plink! Plink!
Go the drops of my drink.
Falling with a patter,
Landing with a splatter.
Oh, how great you tasted,
Such a shame you were wasted.
Dripping to the floor,
Running in a rivulet toward the door.
Once refreshing and cool,
Now lying in a pool.
You deserved a better fate,
Than being slopped on my plate.
I’d have drank you, were I able,
Instead of spilling you across the table!
