Spinning is such a simple thing in life, and people just do it, even if they do get dizzy.
I get dizzy when I spin.
I keep on spinning, though,
Because it’s exhilarating.
I love the world from this perspective:
Everything has been streaked with paint,
Everything has gotten blurred.
The air billows my clothes.
I feel free for a little while
Until I fall.
And when I fall, I am sick to my stomach.
But I can still see that the clouds are moving in wide circles.
I close my eyes and hope I don’t vomit.
I can feel the planet spinning beneath me.
And I’ll be still for a while until my brain turns back on
And I can walk straight again.
And I think to myself,
“I shouldn’t do that anymore.”
But I know
I am definitely going to do it again.
