Poem.
Where do i begin to concentrate, This day in age
When the world spins, but leaves hypocrisy in place
Where thieves steal honor from politicians,
And where popular culture steals from essence
When can we see the wool you’ve pulled over our eyes
Where would you like us to go,where should we hide
When a wolf in sheep’s clothing is indeed the sheep itself
Then why does it cost the herder his life to feed himself
Asymmetrical beliefs are now the only solution to divide
Thus we are all incomplete in the gaze of diamond eyes
Stuck in the progressive reversal of fortune and content
Shall we fight this fight, because there is no victory in judgement
Or just rehearse our roles for this play you’ve devised
Keeping our eye on the prize is what made you aware
This distorted curtain you have raised above our heads
Now we look in astonishment as you’ve taken our security
But shielded this lie in facts and obscurity
You found a way to keep us preoccupied,
Yielding us to our wounded minds
Where do i begin to concentrate, This day in age
When the world spins, but leaves decency behind
Where thieves known as politicians rob mankind
And the public is trapped in the media cage
Founded on factual lies and falsified truths
Beyond the realm of reality, woven too soon
Keep your eyes on the prize or you’ll be robbed blind
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, you’ll be robbed blind
But if you close your eyes and open your mind
You will have what they cant steal, so surreal
The one thing they can never take from your life,
Your humanity.
