There are things people never talk about. Those things are hidden away for a long time, kind of festering and boiling. Why let those things stay hidden until they boil out? People should talk about things that bother them before they boil out and people say things they don’t mean.
a cobweb sponge
absorbs unseen things
in the stillness
of a hectic day
people hide
a bit scattered brain
grudges held
lollipops licked
words not spoken
garbage smells
but broken promises hurt
and cobweb sponges
still absorb unseen things
people don’t talk about
