Sprints run for a a short duration and can shatter records, but once they are done, they are usually forgotten for there can be to many happening to record.

Honestly

On achieving

Never-ending success of the finish-line.

Marathons go slow and steady, you take in the beauty on the ride but at the same time keep your eye on the goal… Enjoy the run while on the way to the finish…

At times Lies run sprints and Truths run marathons. But Marathons take time to reach the end result but they shatter endurance a belief.

Anisha…is your friend sprinting while you are running the marathon? Doesn\’t sound like the two of you are running in the same race…as an aside, they disclosed significant information today about those who literally run marathons and why so many of them are keeling over before they reach the finish line…there are so many stressors and unusual demands placed on the heart during a marathon that it can\’t eithstand the pressures and packs it in…even among the most fit of marathon runners…anyway I voted I like this one…thanks and take care…

I prefer the marathon–except when it come to communication! People, do not half listen, they barely glance thourgh the newspaper, and their attention span is more adapt to halftime and not the main event! Poetry aim is to say more with less. To keep the idea fresh–not stale the taste via wordiness and word counts. Short–and the idea stand tall! Long–and the idea stands of becoimg lost and so does your reader! Get the message! I did love the way you wrote this poem. Clever! Good subject matter. Writers write for writers and serious writer heed the advice of other writer–if the writer is trying to improve! Too Cool!
