We have created distrust by our actions. How can we trust others if we question ourselves?
You distrust Man, for good cause,
I am, worthy of applause, always at odds,
Conceiving fraud, dismissing God,
For thoughts of odd, and ends,
Creating pretend and following them,
Wallow in sin, swallowing friends,
Borrowing trends and making them bend,
Till I would contend and defend,
My worthiness of trust, to be trustworthy,
Must be derived from lust and covering rust,
Need for one’s life in your bust,
I have been burned by men not of me,
They have earned my mistrust,
Unworthy to breathe, So what of us?
I would seek from the, If only,
I could trust what we may be
