Stabilizing a shot in the dark
You have to switch on a light
If your gear is set to park
You can resist the will to fight
You don’t have to be a lead foot
If the circuit is closed off
Being a passenger helps you stay put
When your mouth foams with froth
Rapid transmissions occur
But only on occasion
I leave you this to infer
Reefer is meant for blazin
Cuz when my saddle gets too hot
I have to give the horse a break
Sitting on just one stable thought
I can live that dream until I wake
As for my current chaotic motion
I’ll trust that Newton got it right
Since the moon governs the ocean
I’ll keep my sun rays out of sight.
