This is a dark poem from a dark moment of mine.
How can the wind rip through the air and tear down the sky
With no reason why
Does it ever stop, or start
The worlds unknown cause me to flinch and groan
Turmoil is the neighbor in my mind
The answers to questions I cannot find
I write this now without cause or contemplation
Each word arriving at my mind’s station
Testing the waters, oil shall erupt
Leaking through wisdom, coagulated muck
Sunshine be gone! you’re unwelcome here
In replace of loneliness, now enters fear
Welcome to the stage the master himself
Manipulating the smiles, endearing with stealth
God, please tell me what’s in store
I don’t know how much more I can take,
Living this life, feeling so fake
What matters to me most is rotten as flesh
Dear God, please tell me what is best
Nothing is wrong, everything’s fine,
what’s killing me now comes from deep inside
I can’t see it, can’t touch it, don’t know where to look
I’m lost, dear God, between the galaxies within
Where’s the fucking map?
I long for freedom from this internal crowd
They plague me, they do, make it all end
Please, dear God, an angel you must send
Lift me from this place, where demons roam
“I’m too weak, I can’t take them”, all I can groan
Nothing that once was ever will be again
The loss of time, the stains of sin
Missing friends, where are you now?
Unloved, rejected, a raven, no crown
From the sky, so empty, no one can relate
With wings come consequences, that is my fate.
“It’s not all bad, you know” my consolidation
Dear God, save me, I’ve been so patient
I’m lost from losing, I don’t know the rules
This game only makes sense to the ignorance of fools
What can come together through the separation I face,
Everything is broken and cannot be replaced
I’ll say it again, then two or three times more,
If only to better understand what’s next in store
There is no life to live, only words to speak
Silence and death are the thoughts I greet
