About President-Elect Barack Obama.

Everybody singing
Everybody talking and walking
on President-Elect Barack Obama’s name
Well I’m playing the wait to see game
He stands with an upright pride
Not vain but his charisma he cannot hide
No concern do I discern to his disarming
the promise of peace out of the east
with no more harming
And I must admit his family is so charming
He has shown thus far that he can be trusted
But like the voters from Missouri
I need to hear more of his story for in history
President-Elect Obama might play a hide-and-seek trick game
A slam a dunk down game in the wait to see Obama’s name
to be trusted until if and when he is ever busted
Then all would be for lost and that would be a crying shame
Now dirt alert on President-Elect Barack Obama’s name

But I will end on this musical note
for on that balmy November day standing in line to vote
from my experiences a poem I wrote
“Stand Tall’
As I stood in line around eight or nine
I knew it was time
to stand tall
For a young lady walked by
with her right hand uplifted and reaching for the high sky
inspiring all as we heard her make her call to all
to stand tall
She kept repeating she kept pleading to all
gathered on that balmy November election day to stand tall
And then she went on to say If you stand tall for me
I’ll stand tall for you too
Together being led by “His Glory” in the story
stand tall  President-Elect Obama To God Be The Glory!!!
