In time, our vision may fade, but memory will always remain…

The dusk paints sugary night dreams of mine

It’s evanescent beauty evading the truth

Had twilight not told me the scarcity of time

The emerging stars wouldn’t have acknowledged my youth

As the moon gazed upon eternal Earth’s sublime.

And the truth that hurt was but a demon

The pain it conveyed was just a fluke

For no such innocence harbors a depth

And no deception could explain this ruse…

Unveiling a curtain to the other side

A look, but to recognize only a few

Hopeless at first, yet flustered by now, for

The starlight memories will never forget you.
