This is called an eclogue. It’s a pastoral poem, which contains dialogue between two shepherds.

“Isn’t this night beautiful?”
asked the first shepherd boy.
“The stars twinkling up above,
brings me much peace and joy.”

“I know just how you feel,”
the second shepherd boy replied.
“The night makes it worthwhile,
tending the sheep here on the hillside.”

Your eclogue is so beautifully done with the shepards discussing the starlit night.

Sounds like they’re discussing that one fateful night that the world changed for the better. Very well done with the dialogue exchange and the overall write. Michael
