A path of change.

On a road that’s straight and narrow
lies a bend that hard not to follow
it’s filled with a bit of challenge
but you take it with no fear of malice

You were told you would fail
but you tried to prevail
Pushed and shoved many times
never stopped you from the climb

When you got there it is was your quest
you knew it was the result of a test
what was better than this feeling
a true test of healing

It was all at a halt
but it was not your fault
for the times had been changed
your life rearranged

I like the lines, “you were told you would fail” “but you tried to prevail” I like the overall meaning within the poem about not giving up.

    Take Care,
