She came and left her telltale signs.

Image via Wikipedia

Soft and smooth did she tread at night,

Svelte and supple, she stepped so light.

Slight, silky, shimmer was her gown,

Stealthily caressing the cobbles down.

A whisper, a lisper, her voice so husky,

Morning come, bright bloomed the muskie.

Green grass greener, birds added twitter,

Garden trees, bushes and blooms a-glitter.

Singular perfume, the sign she’d come,

She, - none else than first drizzle of monsoon.

Very well written. Nicely constructed and composed.
