Waiting and hoping for that sign
Most of your life been trying to learn
To spot when life takes that good turn
though there has been sadness its not always been bad
Thoughts drift back to good times you’ve had
Everyone’s had a time when their limits been hit
Wondering if they will ever make it
Picking yourself up is a lifetime goal
Smiling as you dig yourself out of another hole
Its hit and miss just living this life
Wondering if today you will pick up that knife
But pushing they thoughts to the side
And sticking your chest out with pride
Stick your fingers up at everyone
Cos you know you have made it, you have won.
