Aren’t we all still kids deep down inside?

I watch the Summer season fade away
as Autumn’s cool chill arrives.
The leaves are changing colors,
soon they will fall to the ground.
I’ll take the rake from the shed,
make a huge pile to jump into.
I’ll roll and laugh like a child,
for  deep inside I’m still a kid.

Even when my kids were young I still loved jumping in the leaves. It is my favorite part of all about Fall. Great Poem Darla
