This is a poem about strangers and the how they affect us…

Stay calm, close your restless eyes

Clouds have covered the moonlight.

Take the things you like, take it all

You’re living like Jesus Christ.

Star struck and blown in by the storm

I’m grateful I left open the door.

Makes me think who needs who tonight

It gets harder to understand.

I watch the monster inside a mouse

Try to scratch its way out.

All wet and eager to belong

Trying hard to get up from the floor.

Here now try not to fight

You’re hiding the same lie.

Takes a lifetime to find the time

Outlands of a dying night.

Stone cold and standing at the door

You had something but you wanted some more…
