Strength of Purpose

Keep pressing on in spite of the obstacles.

Strength to move those mountains,

Strength to climb the tall, steep hill,

Strength to help yourself when no else will.

Strength to press onward and upward,

Strength to have the hope to prevail.

Strength to never give up each day,

Until you reach the top of that hill.

Keep your wits about you if you can,

Let that strength keep you ever strong.

Hi quiet voice! I really enjoyed this…Strength is so entertwined with hope and the determination to just keep on putting one foot ahead of the other!
Maybe sometimes we don’t realize just how strong we really are. Your poem definitely gives a person something to reflect on!
