Strengthen Me
Your mercy holds,
Your love told,
In all the world Your love is shown.
And from me You never go.
Though I don’t deserve Your grace,
You forgive because Jesus took my place.
You see not my old sins, only His perfect face,
And no more are my sins traced.
You deserve all my praise,
All the love my heart attains.
Your arm is always strong,
Even when things go so wrong.
I need You Father,
Strengthen me and allow me not to wander.
Hold my hand so I can get through another storm,
In this imperfect world keep my heart warm.
I hold on to Your Word,
Knowing that coming to my rescue is my Lord.
When life gets me down,
I need to be found.
Though this world is imperfect and scary,
You are perfect and You will not tarry.
