What’s your remedy
Are you completely
Passionless
Robotic
Simple
With mental posterity
No hint of solemnity
Emotion
Substance
Passion
Presence of life
I want to feel your fire
Bask in your naked
Desire
-never retire
But live, lust always
Let me perform on
Your stage
Speak into your
Microphone
Until your voice
Is amplified
Into an unsubtle moan
And the neighbors
Envy my performance
With standing ovation
Rampage of
Beating on the door
Threatening
In exchange for our
Silence
-but I won’t
Be silenced
-make me scream
Bloody murder!
