I once heard

back when I was a young boy

that pretty little girls

were made of Sugar and Spice

and everything nice.

Then I became a man and this

advice when applied to women

seemed to conflict.

Seems that when a girl becomes a woman

they refuse to fit into this ole script.

I tried hard to stick to the old advice,

even when the sugar bowl ran dry

even when the spice was spiked,

but nothing every seemed to turn out right.

Seems that women have forgotten

how to be nice with their sugar an spice.

That Sugar and Spice thing, sure was a fairytale,

or just downright bad advice!
