The summer holidays are round the corner,

We’re gonna have a lot of fun,

Keeping our cool and staying carefree,

We’ll surely fight the sun.

After months of hard work,

A bit of rest is welcome,

In fact it can surely extend,

To months, years, with no end……

Going to the beach on a hot summer day,

Just the thought is so good,

Playing, laughing and chatting with our friends,

Oh, these are the best days of childhood!

Eating ice creams and ice candies,

Going for a swim in the pool,

This is the time to enjoy,

Don’t even think about school!

The holidays…..,

Are on the way,
