In this poem a summers day is admired.
Under the sky the lovers know.
Long gone the cold of winters snow.
The children’s laughter is so gay.
In the sun they sing and play.
On a summer breeze, the flowers blow.
Beneath the sun they spread and grow.
And in the park they spend the day.
Warm breezes chase their cares away.
On the beach they lie in the sun.
And splash in the water just for fun.
Scantly clad they spend the day.
As the hours while away.
