I discovered this poem in the drafts of my blog.
I wrote it almost three years ago but for some inexplicable reason
I never published it.

I’m in pain, friend
my whole body is aching
forgive my seeing red
I was cruel and selfish

Stay with me, friend
my heart feels cold and empty
I wouldn’t wake up again
if our friendship ended

Sun’s coming up, friend
we both love this moment
the night soon will be dead
the Sun will end our torment

Come closer, friend
I’m still feeling cold
I love you, friend
you have a heart of gold

@ gooselfme This poem is one of most favourites.
Perhaps I didn’t publish it back then because I thought it was too emotional, but now I think a bit different about emotions.
