When I left the land down under I left more then a place.

Sunlight love

A hug from behind around my middle,

“hey”

A mumbled response into my shoulder,

As corn yellow hair

Highlighted by moonlight,

Tickles my neck.

A hidden cove

Full of genital kisses.

Quit “I love yous”

And “can we stay like this,

Even if it’s just for a little while?”

Bronze skin brushes me in greeting.

The school bell we haft to get to class

There’s no time for a chased kiss

But we did anyway.

Only to be seen.

Crystal tears,

I whisper “good-bye,”

And hear “don’t go. Stay please.”

I wish I could stay,

In the land filled with sun,

Warmth and love.

I step on the plain.

Crystal tears fall for my sunlight love.
