A poem inspired by a hike I did with my boyfriend at the time.
We stand
gazing
toward the West
and sea.
Land stretches out
before us–
houses, roads, orange and alvacado
trees.
Sunlight warms our
sweaty faces.
We embrace
enjoy silence…
watch the sky darken.
