A poem I wrote during high school. Dated: August 4,2005.

Everytime I saw the sun shining

I know there’s a new beginning

Giving us a better day

A day with hope, with brighter way.

**

Even though earth is full of destruction

It’s rays still give exultation

For it shines with perfection

You know you gain satisfaction.

    Short, but beautiful!

  • nadinesimone on Sep 15, 2009

Nice concept. The only problem being, you open with mixed tenses. You cloud the issue with past and present. For example it should read either: Everytime I SEE the sun shining I know etc. Or Everytime I saw the sun shining I KNEW etc.

A few tricks of the trade, and you will be well on your way to stardom.

Take care and keep on writing.
