A poem written for my eldest daughter

The little smile that appears on your face

When something has happened that pleases you

Makes my heart fill with sunshine

The little tear that rolls down your cheek

When have fallen and hurt your knee

Makes my heart fill with sunshine

The joy on your face when we take our moonwalks

And make some awesome discovery

Makes my heart fill with sunshine

The excitement in your voice when you hear

About an invitation or surprise

Makes my heart fill sunshine

The love that you give out to others

Is reflected in your sweet smile

It makes your skin glow in an ethereal translucence

This inner beauty is radiated in the universe

It resonates across all barriers

You have given all this to me and I can say to you

You fill my heart with sunshine

This poem to your daughter is beautiful. Our children are the
best, we see such sunshine in the most simple of things. May they continue to bring you happiness, a nice reflection on you. Only a loving mother feels so deeply, what a joy it is.

    Thank you for sharing this.
