To save a life
And help those now
Is what I choose to do, but how?
I have no super powers, lasers shooting from my eyes…
…A hero am I
A hero who cannot fly
No x-ray vision to help me see
Simply Super Hero Me.
To save a life
And help those now
Is what I choose to do, but how?
I have no super powers, lasers shooting from my eyes
Super strength or super speed
Are all things I think I need
But I’ve been told otherwise
That I don’t need to fly
She told me, “Son of mine
You are no Super-Man
This you soon will find
That without his super-powers, you too, can do what he can!”
She made me feel so full of hope
That I felt like being normal, I could cope
I know now that I had no need for super-powers
Without them, over evil I’d still tower
I’ll change the world with no powers at all
I’ll change everything and still stand tall
To save a life, I am now capable
A balanced force that will not topple
A hero is not defined by his or her powers
But instead for what they do as a person
They help the people with countless hours
No super-powers need I, that I have chosen
A hero am I
A hero who cannot fly
No x-ray vision to help me see
Simply Super Hero Me
