A short poem..of giving in to love.

The waves of love Wash over me,
now drowning slowly in its tranquil sea.

I take the chance and surrender with my crystal white flag,
release my heart from its cocooned bag.

You stand before me arms stretched out eyes full of hope,
now my heart decides to elope.

Fears are washed away as if the tide of love ordered it this way,
now in you’re arms I lay.

i enjoyed the brevity of this piece, succint, straight to the point and very well expressed. The emotions come through well. :)

Sorry, meant to add. in the first line I thought ‘wash’ may have been a better choice of word for the second ‘waves’, it would tie it nicely with the ‘washed’ in the last line.

    Just an opinon :)

Awwww Cadry, what a meaningful love poem you have composed here with such a depth of emotion. I admire the second stanza as you decide to give in and let the beauty of love flow freely. Amazing poem Dear Lady…
