Poem about being different and how wrong it can feel, and how it can make you feel regretful when it affects the people around you.

I am sorry i am the way I am,

And for the way I’ve lived my life.

Ive always wanted to be good to you,

And to be an even better wife.

I’m sorry life gets me down,

And pain dances in my heart.

I’m trying to change and live a little,

But the pressure is tearing my apart.

I’m sorry to the people that are worse off than I,

I call it my survivors guilt,

I try to be strong for you

But like seasons I blossom and wilt.

I’m sorry to my parents,

For all the lies I’ve had to tell,

I was trying to protect you,

But I led you straight to hell.

I’m sorry for my thoughts,

That turn from black to white,

There is no grey or in between,

Just two colour that seem to fight.

I’m sorry to myself,

For all the pain I put you through,

I know I have screwed it all up

But its not to late to start anew.
