The glorious season that is Spring.

Leaves laid waste from winter past
Herald Springtime’s birth at last
A majestic vista lies before
Of Silver Birch and Sycamore

Clover weaves her glorious cloak
Pansies surround the mighty Oak
Velvet Moss in emerald grace
Daisies akin to finest lace

Bluebells nestle in wooded glade
Petunias coyly rest in shade
Morning’s dew fills the air
Like tiny diamonds everywhere

Saplings layered on lavender hue
The realization – Heaven is true!
Far and away from city sounds
this haven, here on Sussex Downs
