A favourite Rock ‘n Roll performer from my youth. Each time she toured Australia, I was there in Brisbane dancing in the mosh pit, but it was just called “dancin” down the front’ then.

She wriggles, she writhes, she rocks, she rolls
She sings her way into many souls.
Her music for women is striking a blow-
For liberation, her popularity will grow.

Her life meant nothing until she found
Her Rock ‘n’ Roll music, there was a sound.
Her charisma overflows as she beats the bass
The bass she beats at a frightful pace.

She reaches her peak when she sings before
A huge audience, she pleases them all
I saw her once in a beautiful dream;
Her virtues were many it did seem.

I wondered if ever I would meet her in person
I love to delve in her music, A rock immersion.
I will always admire her stardom from afar,
She’s my Suzi, and she’s a star.
