This is for the will power that faded away. With the New Year and no new holidays, pledges are made to lose the weight…
Oh Halloween, your so sweet,
Little darlings dressed like gnomes,
Whoops, did I eat that extra treat?
Need to get more, leave my home.
Thanksgivings arrives with shorter days,
A little pie, maybe some more.
My hips aware that this will stay,
I’d tell you my weight, but why bore?
Holiday season in full swing
Munchies galore, have just a taste.
I’ll start my diet after this fling,
Surely these morsels won’t find my waist.
Now the New Year upon us, pledges made.
No more candies, no more wine.
Holidays are over, the pounds they stayed,
What’s that dear? Oh, well, for my Valentine!
