Golden hilt and blade of gray,

thus was made the Sword of Day

Forged in darkness, and without light,

thus was made the Sword of Night.

First for blood and through the fray,

sang the Sword of Night and Day,

Blades of Gray smeared with crimson red,

and as it sang, laid thousands dead.

Kings and Princes, Dukes and Lords,

all sought to wield these two deadly swords,

But hidden, locked , and kept away,

never to be found, Swords of Night and Day
