A daily touch of life

A literary garden for the gnomes

Not sure if they will read it

“If you build it they will come”

But who believed Kevin Costner anyway?

Bad acting – second to none

But the reason I am here is not

To mock or scold or brag

I may not be a genius   

But I’ve got it in the bag

Your average Aussie Dad with kids and wife

A bloke who likes to think

That putting what’s in my head down on paper

Might just be my cup of ink

Speaking of Kevin Costner

He really had great hair

I suppose he thought he was worth it

A mullet extraordinaire

But maybe it didn’t look so good wet

And that’s why Water World was a flop

Remember Hitch with Will Smith?

Me neither, another water movie gone to pot

Poseidon was a good water movie

And Jaws was pretty good

But who cares, I’m not a movie critic

I’m a distracted boy in the hood

So let me finish day one by saying
