…Risk trust and vulnerability.

Come with me, take my hand
Please, do not be afraid

The steps are seemingly dark and steep
This much I already knew

If you turn away now
We might never experience
What was beginning to unfold

I know your past
Tugs at your sleeves
It’s constant and comforting
So much so that sometimes
You forget to believe

I’m here right now
I took your small hand in mine
I kissed away a few tears,
I tried to show you life’s brighter side

Take a chance with me
Throw away your fears
Please open your heart,
Risk trust and vulnerability

Please give me the chance to
Care and spend some time with you
I ache for it so, my darling
If, you only knew…

This poem is very straight forward and open, I really liked
    Take a chance with me
    Throw away your fears
    Please open your heart,
    Risk trust and vulnerability

Such a hard thing to do but necessary for a love to grow.
