Take my lips, and speak through me,

Loving, caring words of Thee.

Words of Thee that draw a soul,

Show him how to be made whole!

Take my mind, and think through me,

Thoughts that I may tell of thee.

Thoughts based solely on Thy Word,

That will show lost souls my Lord.

Take my heart, and love through me,

Souls that see no need for Thee.

Souls so lost in sin’s black night,

May I lead them to the Light.

May I speak, that they may hearken,

In their heart of hearts so darkened.

Love through me, dear Lord, I pray,

Help me show them, Christ the Way!

So many live in darkness still,

Rest to following their own will.

May I keep thy banner unfurled,

Shine Thy Light in sin’s dark world!
