This is the poem I wrote to my girlfriend when she was having hardships inside of her family and just needed to be cheered up. It made her happy when she read it as I hope it does everyone that reads this poem.
Hesitant and heartbroken
I see the pain in your eyes every day
let me stay for a little while
let me take the pain away
heartaches forgotten
Broken trust thrown aside
I’ll be here for you as I’ve been
all the times you’ve cried
Love is a mystery
that’s no lie
but I bet we can figure it out
I bet we can learn to fly
