Domestic violence.

Tears streaked her beautiful face,
Dead leaves haunted her soft hair,
Blood trickled from her rosey lips,
She stood, dirty and bruised, in despair.

Bruises surrounded her blackened eye,
Blood escaped her angelic nose,
Words tormented her restless mind,
She holds a tale no one knows.

Mascara streaked down her sad face,
Knots tangled her pretty hair,
Skin tore from her plump lips,
And she knew life wasn’t fair.

Bllodshot and irritated were her eyes,
Swelling captured her fragile nose,
Hatred filled her once peaceful mind,
A tale she puts away, stows.

Oh, what a sorrowful shame,
Oh, the stories your mind elaborated,
Oh, who’s to blame?
Oh, if only the truth was created.

Shed some light beautiful girl,
Save yourself from his embrace,
Save yourself before its too late,
Hurry now, go in haste.
