A poem about an amazing girl, named Tayler.
october 31st, two thousand nine,
I was holding my drink and doing just fine,
until this fragile girl came in,
With two other friends, and a cigarette in her hand,
Twenty seven blends, smoked out the room,
I was buzzing quite nice, really soon.
I saw her twice, she had a double,
I couldn’t see straight and I knew I was in trouble.
I’m scared to speak, my voice goes dry,
I’m feeling right for the first long time,
this feeling in this clenched up chest,
Soothes the feeling, better than the rest.
I couldn’t stop thinking, how’s my hair?
I wanna kiss her cheek, but shall I dare?
I lost my way I’m stumbling drunk,
I know it’s just a turn of luck.
Thinking now, of the fragile girl,
I want it worse, than all the cash in the world,
For her to say, “I like you too!”
I hope she would be one of the few.
I miss this girl, Tayler Dayy,
She can have my heart it’s hers to break,
I wouldn’t be pained, It’s true I say,
This feeling is real, not just fake.
I’ll close my eyes, drift off to sleep,
It’s her I see, when I’m lost in my dreams.
