cherished each word created and

how the notes embraced each line

already loved the song

memorized each one verse

perfected in each stanza

and how it paints drama

already loved the voice

mesmerized by the timbre and range

and how each line are given life

now,

teach me how to hold

the hand behind the crafted words

the creative mind behind the enchanting lyrics

the voice behind the wonderful song,

the face behind the voice.

teach me how to look beyond the music,

to dig deeper into the notes,

to see the pictures painted by the lyrics,

to love the man behind the song.
