A teardrop in paradise…

If you were a teardrop, I would not wipe my eyes,

my crying wouldn’t stop, for I would be in paradise…

My tongue would moisten, with each teardrop it greets,

my lips would hasten, to taste whats so sweet…

My heart of old, would cry out and burn,

my soul would yearn, for your teardrop of gold…

Oh if you were a teardrop, may my eyes over flow,

let me enjoy the lot, before in death I must go…

Lying on my death bed, let your teardrops so fine,

trickle onto my head, just one more time….
