This is something that’s taken me awhile to come to terms with. Maddy is my daughter who lives with my ex in WA. This poem comes from the heart and has taken me a lot of considering to actually publish it on Triond. Hope you all enjoy reading it!
Tears falling down
my face,
Missing moments when
times were brighter,
Missing my little one,
Knowing as she
grows older,
My love for her
grows stronger,
Trying to be there
for all her needs,
Being her shoulder
to cry on
in times of sorrow,
As I look forward
to tomorrow.
