Tears in the eyes, 

Tears on the cheeks,

Even when I smile,

The grief somehow leaks…..

I walk to somewhere,

To where I know not,

Only if she had thought of,

How much the heart had fought….

But alas, she is not aware,

And has no time for me to spare,

Her eyes as though still in front of me,

they are beautiful, I can swear…..

Her name has soaked deep into me,

Her scent, I cannot tell from mine,

But so is the grief of things unresolved,

My desires, through the tears they shine……..

I sit on a chair, where we sat once, 

Remembering a time when she was around,

What she had said, i dont recall,

Just her eyes and just her sound……..

And thus am alone, all alone as it seems,

The mood is numb, the heart is meek, 

And I notice I continue to have,

The tears in the eyes,

and also on the cheeks……………..
