The tears of a girl with a bleeding heart because her love is gone.

The tears of red drip down her cheeks

For all that see them, not one of them speaks

From her eyes the red tears fall

Rolling down her face, from some unwelcome call

The tears of blood should be coming from her heart

One word made it possible for her to fall apart

Falling constantly with no control

Destroyed now, a true black hole

Now dead inside, no turning back

This was much more than an unintentional attack

The tears of blood drip down her cheeks

They go unseen, while the ghost of a trick silently weeps

Red drops drip down from eyes of dark brown

Enough red there for this life to drown

Throughout the day they fall consistently

Throughout the night the broken spirit bleeds persistently

Waiting for that final spark, the one to make her fall apart

While she sits quietly in the dark waiting for the dawn to start

She waits in agony with red stinging tears wanting them to come to a stop

When the distance to their end has been searched for years, there is nothing left to pop

The tears of life drip down her cheeks

She cries for him, but he doesn’t speak

She is dead to him, no longer exists, mind games played to form this trick

She cries red blood, her heart bleeding, unbelieving she trusted his heart of brick

Her heart is cold, while her cheeks run red

He doesn’t believe she is truly dead

She looks in the mirror to see me looking back at her with bleeding tears

All his kind loving words ring in her head but our dying screams is all she hears

Her love gone, bleeding down her face, tears for a life she doesn’t have anymore

He claims her tears are part of his game, the winning score

The tears of fire run down our cheeks

She sees me in the mirror, but cannot hear me speak

A love that once burned so strong, now the fiery drops dripping off our faces

Her and I wishing of wide-open, loving places

She is me, and I am her

The world is beginning to become a blur

The tears of our life drying and falling away

Gone with our bleeding heart, never again to see the light of day

Her tears of blood cease to drop

My tears of red cease as my heart comes to a silent stop
