A message for the youth.
My parents and elders tell me everyday,
That my wisdom still has a long way,
“Listen” the grown ups instruct,
“Listen for what we say is exact,
You still have a long way to go
Thus accomplish what you’re told to do so
Whether my youth obstructs my way of thinking,
Though teenagers today do lots of drinking
I would still not alter what I want and believe in
Although we’re living in a world so mean
I’ll cherish the days I woke up naïve
Yet I’ll wait for the day I’ll no longer be deceived
Now while I’m young, I’ll not only dream of tomorrow
But I’ll work and toil despite the many sorrow.
